Unlock your potential and step into the spotlight with our Acting class! Designed for kids and teens, this class provides an engaging and supportive environment where students can explore the art of acting. Through a variety of exercises, games, and performances, participants will develop essential acting skills, build confidence, and learn how to bring characters and stories to life on stage. This class teaches acting for stage and film.

Acting I is for students ages 7-10

Acting II is for students ages 11-13

Students ages 14 and up are invited to audition for our MDT Cohort

Key Features:

  • Fundamental Techniques: Learn the basics of acting, including voice projection, diction, body language, and stage presence.

  • Character Development: Explore how to create and embody diverse characters through improvisation, script work, and role-playing.

  • Scene Work: Practice scenes from plays, movies, and original works to understand dialogue, timing, and interaction with other actors.

  • Improvisation Games: Enhance creativity and spontaneity with fun and interactive improvisation games and exercises.

  • Confidence Building: Gain self-confidence and improve public speaking skills through regular performance opportunities and constructive feedback.
